Most private mental health OT in the UK is delivered by sole practitioners. Purpose People is built differently: a team of HCPC-registered Occupational Therapists supported by RCOT-registered OTAs, with weekly clinical supervision, peer case review and a shared clinical model. When you refer to us, you refer to that whole infrastructure.

Every OT is HCPC registered and regulated. Every OTA is RCOT registered. All associates are ICO registered, fully insured and DBS checked.

Our Practice Manager will reply with the referral pack and book a short call with one of our senior clinicians so we can plan the right pathway together.

Why we don't take insurance.
Whilst occupational therapy is registered by the HCPC, there are very few companies offering mental health occupational therapy in the private sector and therefore we have found it is rarely recognised by insurance companies.
In some circumstances with certain insurance companies, you can pay Purpose People Ltd and claim back, however we are unable to be involved in this process and as such offer no guarantee of any repayment from an insurance company.
